I live on the east end of Long Island where there are many vineyards and an abundance of farmland. With farmland comes farmstands, they range from a simple bench on the side of the road to very large buildings and playgrounds and “pick your own” set ups. My favorite part of visiting these stands are the old tractors, trucks and farm equipment that are displayed. Since it is still winter, the majority of the stands are closed so it makes it easy to shoot with no people in the way.
This image is for my Texas friend Dave, not that I ever saw him wear a hat like this π
Hello. Nice to meet you, well virtually anyway. I love being outdoors whenever possible, I enjoy making photographs, be it a flower, a landscape or some street photography...it is my escape and my right brain nurturing.
The purpose of this blog is to share with you moments I have enjoyed, places I have visited and images that I hope will bring a smile to your day. Feel free to comment, sign up for email notification of my posts or email me. Thank you for visiting

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting photos and love the way you have edited them, seems like you have given these grand old work horses a special place in history.
