That is the name of an old movie…very old, like 1965 🙂 Anyway, I do spend a lot of time on the shores of LI and in recent years I am enjoying and amazed by all those Magnificent Men/Women in their flying Machines. I personally am terrified of heights so I look on these folks with envy because the view must be magnificent!!! I think some of the machines are nothing more than a lawnmower engine and some blades, but hey what do I know. This was taken at Cupsogue Beach County Park, as I was watching for birds flying into the inlet from the ocean I heard a roar and this is what I spotted. He was totally enjoying the ride and I have to think the view is awe inspiring…I hope he takes some photos on his journeys.
