If you have been following the posts for my recent trip to Portugal you have seen so many beautiful colors…I’m going to change this one up a bit. We did a 3 hour walk at night which provides an entirely different perspective. I shot the entire walk in B&W. We wandered some of the less “touristy” areas as well as the more familiar areas. I happen to love street art so there is some incorporated here and capturing the tram with no color is a bit different as well. Hope you enjoy.

You will find portraits of people on homes, sometimes they are famous people, sometimes it is a portrait of the person that lived in the building.

A refreshing choice with the black and white. However, I can still imagine the brilliant colors. Lisbon appeals to me.

Thanks Pat. With all the different lighting in the city at night, B&W is the only way to go…and I do love the simplicity of B&W 🙂

At night everything changes… what was bright and colorful can now be moody and look dangerous. Most of the time, it is not, but just like in any big city, you always have to be careful. Most of the time, street/wall art does not get my attention unless it is really good. I prefer the moody scenes, the abandoned places that bring a sense of timelessness to the photo. Good job capturing Lisbon at night!
