Snowy Day on the East End

Seven inches of that beautiful white stuff that makes any winter day so pretty! The sun popped out later in the morning as did the wind gusts. Hopped in the car and drove east on Sound Ave hoping the open fields would provide some opportunity to catch the blowing snow… was not disappointed. Funny how snow makes even the most mundane structure somehow pretty.

Now when it comes to the “Rules of Photography” one should NEVER place the subject dead center! Hey I was feeling a bit rebellious yesterday 🙂

I’ve shot this windmill many times but never in the snow. I think I may have to make a four season poster of this cool place.

Whenever we get a decent snowfall the cross country skiers head over to Wildwood State Park. I don’t know that I would have the energy to go more than a few feet! It looks so easy but it know it requires stamina.

Done for the day
