Frank Melville Park, aka Setauket Pond

Was meeting a friend for lunch today but headed out a little early to walk the pond in Setauket. It turned out to be one of those very special spring days… sunny, a bit crispness in the air but OH you know spring is truly around the corner! 🙂

For my friend Becki, here are a few dogs:)… and it seemed everyone was walking one..

And then my suburban version of Street Photography…

One of the residences that border the park, you know spring is not far away when everyone starts getting out in their gardens.
What could be better than a walk with grandpa!

And the rest are just images that I’ve captured, that captured my interest.

The pond borders residential properties, and some residence have direct access. Love this gate with the heart
If anyone can tell me what this is? really cool but have no idea.
This is obviously old ivy that was cut off, but I just love the texture and colors on this tree trunk.
