A beautiful sunny, but chilly morning here on the north shore of Long Island. Set up the tripod, made a pot of coffee and waited… the goldfinch landed on the branch I was hoping for. After they fill their bellies they usually land on the bur oak that I planted next to the birdbath and I was ready 🙂 No one else cooperated, but I did get a few good shots of a morning dove and red bellied woodpecker on the feeder pole and a bluejay in the red maple that is just starting to bloom. Happy Easter all.
